Luis runs his first 5k race

Luis ran in the 2nd annual Rove the Cove 5k race in Auburndale Mass on June 21st, 2008. It was his first 5k race. He recently competed in the Special Olympics at Harvard Stadium where he ran the 800m event. He ran the 5k at a significantly slower pace, so I think he needs more long distance miles. I also want to get him on the back of a tandem bicycle. A tandem seems like a wonderful option for anyone for whom riding a bike alone would be too risky.
